French for "Beautiful Land," Belle Terre is more than just a name-it embodies our philosophy. The land in which we live and work and play furnishes for us the necessities as well as the pleasures of life; and the harvest provides us with nourishment as well as refreshment. The land is an integral part of the harvest, and the grapes we use in our wines come from some of the most beautiful land in the world. It is the beautiful land-the Belle Terre-that, nourishing and enriching the vine, makes a great wine.
A few years ago, a few friends with a common interest in travel, good food and great wine came together to realize a shared dream-locating, tasting and importing the finest Spanish wines-at reasonable prices. Their dedication and drive to succeed resulted in the formation of Belle Terre Imports, with international operations in the United States, Mexico and the United Kingdom.
While traveling in Spain, Dom Famularo, one of the co-founders of Belle Terre Imports USA, formed a strong friendship with Master Vintner Alberto Cuevas of Marti Serda, S.L. The rich soil and fantastic Mediterranean weather of the Penedes region possess the unique characteristics which make Marti Serda the finest wines and cavas in Spain.
Our belief is that the best wines in the world are those that help to form great memories and lasting friendships ... or is it great friendships and lasting memories? Either way, our goal at Belle Terre Imports is to bring you the best wines in the world.
